Q195 steel is a kind of carbon structural steel in China.“Q” is the first letter of Chinese spelling of “qu fu dian”, the translation is “Yield Point” or “Yield Strength”, “195” is indicates the unit value “195 MPa”(It is an experimental value measured with a 16mm steel bar).so it is called Q195 steel.
Q195 Steel has high plasticity, toughness and weldability, good pressure processing performance, but low strength.
Q195 Steel Application
Q195 steel is used to make foundation bolts, plowshares, smoke pipes, roof panels, rivets, low carbon steel wires, thin plates, welded pipes, pull rods, hooks, brackets, welding structures, etc. Rolling sheet and wire rod. Cold and hot-rolled sheet steel and galvanized, tinned and plastic composite sheet steel made of the original sheet steel are widely used in roof panels, decorative plates, general dust removal pipes, packaging containers, iron buckets, instrument shells, switch boxes, protective covers, train cars, etc. Wire rods are usually cold drawn into low-carbon steel wires or galvanized into galvanized low-carbon steel wires, which are used for binding, tension fixing or for wire mesh, rivets, etc.
Q195 Steel Heat treatment process
1. Heat treatment specification and metallographic structure: heat treatment specification: hot rolling.
2. Metallographic structure: ferrite + pearlite.
3. Delivery status: generally delivered in hot rolling (including controlled rolling). According to the requirements of the demander, after the agreement of both parties, the goods can also be delivered in normalized processing state.
