304 is the American stainless steel number, which is equivalent to 06Cr19Ni10 in the national standard GB / T 20878-2007 (0Cr18Ni9 in the old national standard). The industry is also called 18/8, also known as 304-2B steel grade, because its Cr is not less than 18, Ni is not less than 8, 304 is widely used, but chlorine will corrode it, so it contains salt and has a strong acidity and alkalinity. As we all know, 304J1 is a copper-containing material of 304-2B, which is mainly used for deep processing and belongs to the nickel-saving series. 1: Features and usage;
304J1 is a new type of stainless steel. On the basis of 304, the nickel content is reduced and the copper content is increased. 304D is a new product brand, independently developed by Qingshan. It is an economical corrosion-resistant stainless steel (note: economical), intended to replace 304. Product design starting point: on the basis of ensuring the corrosion resistance of SUS304-2B, improve the strength and hardness of the material, while reducing the production cost of the material.
 
304-2B is 18/8 stainless steel.
Products such as: corrosion-resistant containers, tableware, furniture, railings, medical equipment. The standard composition is 18% chromium plus 8% nickel. It is a non-magnetic stainless steel that cannot be changed by heat treatment. GB grade is 0Cr18Ni9.
 
 
2: Chemical composition;
304J1, 304J1 contains about 6.0% nickel, which is lower than 304-2B stainless steel.
304D, high chromium (18%), medium nickel (2.8), high copper (1.5%). The appearance surface of 304J1 is also no different from that of 304-2B. With the reduction of Mi content, the deep processing performance can not be compared with the original 304J1.
There are two other 304 steel types, 304 L and 304 N. 304 L: It has the same characteristics as 304, but with low carbon, it is more corrosion-resistant and easy to heat-treat, but has poor mechanical properties. It is suitable for welding and products that are not easy to heat-treat. 304 N: The same characteristics as 304, it is a kind of nitrogen-containing stainless steel. Nitrogen is added to improve the strength of the steel.
304D and 304J1 steels were successfully developed and put into the market shortly. Various performances, especially corrosion performance, are worse than 304-2B. If the user purchases materials for deep processing, it is more unsuitable to choose 304D and 304J1.

Because the nickel content of 304-2B reaches more than 8%, his corrosion resistance is stronger, and sometimes the customer may use water for domestic purposes.

There is a conceptual thing, such as drinking water and bath water.
